United Nations Deputy Secretary-General welcomes Burna Boy to UN Headquarters

United Nations Deputy Secretary General Amina J Mohammed personally welcomed Grammy award-winning singer Burna Boy to the United Nations Headquarters in New York, America.

Burna Boy went in the company of his mother and his manager, Bose Ogulu. His visit follows his upcoming sold-out show at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

In a tweet via her verified handle, Mohammed praised the African giant whom she called a “compatriot”.

“I had the opportunity to welcome my compatriot @burnaboy here at @UN HQ. Burna continues to inspire young people around the world with his incredible talents,” she tweeted.

Moreso, the entertainer took to his Instagram stories to share the times he spent with Mohammed at the UN headquarters. Clips of the video showed the Wonderful singer receiving gifts from Mohammed.

In turn, the singer serenaded those in attendance with a quick freestyle while holding the Nigerian flag which stood among the flags of other countries.
