NEW DELHI: HMD Global, the maker of Nokia phones, on Monday launched the latest C-series smartphone, the Nokia C01 Plus in India, in a 2GB RAM + 16GB memory variant at Rs 5,999.

The device which was launched as part of a strategic partnership with Reliance Retail will be available in blue and purple colors, at major offline retail stores, e-commerce platforms and Nokia.com.

Jio users can benefit from a JioExclusive offer either in retail stores or by registering themselves on the MyJio app. This will provide 10% instant price support on the price and they will have to pay Rs 5,399 only.

ETTElecom had reported that Reliance was signing reverse handset pooling partnerships with a large number of companies such as Vivo, Xiaomi, Samsung, Oppo, HMD Global and iTel, among others, for SIM-locked Jio phones, a strategy that could help it acquire high performance. end users.
The Nokia C01 Plus comes with a 5.45 inch HD + display accompanied by a 2MP front camera. On the back it contains a 5MP HDR camera.

The device is equipped with a removable 3000mAh battery and is supposed to provide up to a day of battery backup.

The device is powered by Android 11 Go Edition and will receive security updates for at least two years, according to an official statement.
