Incredible shot on day three of the Australian Open

In the second-round match between Spain’s No. 19 seed Pablo Carreno Busta and Tallon Griekspoor of the Netherlands, the world saw something incredible. In the 3rd set, Griekspoor tried to hit an overhead smash, but he timed it wrong. The ball fell to Carreno Busta’s side of the pitch but returned to Griekspoor’s pitch.

Many players would have given up on this point. But the Spaniard didn’t and he ran furiously to get the ball back. He had to go around the net to his opponent’s court to hit the ball and win the point. The Spaniard hardly had any choice but to go to his opponent’s side to win the point.

Luckily Carreno Busta didn’t hit the net otherwise he would have lost the point. Many fans on social media question the legality of the shot, and some praise the shot.

What if he hits him directly into the net on the opponent’s side? Still good as long as it bounces?

Lol the simplest move he ever played

Ok, I understand it is legal to hit the ball after it has crossed. What if he doesn’t touch it at all? Is this still pointing to the opposition?

Everyone wanted to try this at least once in their life…. He did it
