Direct ICICI website, app crashes again today; users post complaints on Twitter

A day after ICICI direct claimed to fix the unprecedented network issues faced by investors, several users started experiencing connection issues again Thursday morning on the platform. It came after the ICICI direct website and app shut down on Wednesday morning after users faced inconvenience during peak hours.

Also tweeting much the same, the company claimed that all issues have been resolved and investors can now go live on ICICI’s direct website and mobile app. He also said that all intraday products have been enabled for trading. However, much to investors’ chagrin, they again started facing similar intermittent issues when accessing ICICI’s direct accounts on Thursday morning, prompting many to take to Twitter for go after the online stock trading platform.

Following this, the company through a new tweet greeted investors apologizing for the inconvenience and further stated that the website and apps will be available from 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, and investors can log in and access their accounts accordingly.

The ICICIdirect website and applications will be available today from 8:45 am. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Investors Complain About ICICI Direct Website Shutdown

Meanwhile, several investors who faced constant system issues for two consecutive days shared the inconvenience caused to them on Twitter. They also complained that ICICI direct apps were not working and only showing data for Tuesday as they tried to connect during peak hours. That’s when users trying to log in on Wednesday morning were notified with a message that read, “Dear Customer, ICICIdirect.com will not be available until February 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. We regret the inconvenience caused. Customer Service, ICICIdirect.com.”
